You were sad today

Dear FutureMe, You have spent the last three weeks tortured over Courtney Mandarino. You missed her terribly. You were not sure why she needed a break or what precipitated her moving out. I've been trying to get in touch with her so that I can break things off. I wrote a break up email and everything. I don't know if she cares anymore, I don't know if she's thinking about me. I'm not very manly at the moment. So, future self, I take refuge in the idea that you may look back on this terribly painful time and laugh. Or cry. They say time heals all wounds. You tell me.
