Dear FutureMe,
Here you sit 31 years old living a life of a 21 year old. Is that still you? Have you found someone to spend your evenings with or did Bobbie Jo break your heart too much? Are you still the second mother, cook, nanny, and tutor to her wonderful children? Are you still a lesbian or did you give up on women too? Do you still drink like a fish to dull your brain or have you found some other addiction to hold on to? Are you still sitting behind a desk being someones slave in an industry (terrestrial radio) that is dieing a little more every day or have you grabed the reighns in some other field. Did you ever go back to school to become that teacher you know you would kill to be? Have you learned from any of your mistakes you have made? Hopefully you have made a thousand more mistakes by now and are learning from those too. What debts are no longer on your shoulders? Is your family well? Are you an Aunt yet? Do you still live in sub zero Buffalo or have you moved away a better place? Did you ever go live in the mid west like you dreamed of doing? How many more things have you checked off your list of things to do before you die? Have you gotten back on track with God or are you headed for warmer climates? Are Heather and Dan, Tiffany, Bobbie Jo and Sam still your friends? Gas is $2.40 right now. How much is it there? Please, I hope you are growing old gracefully and that the lines on your face are from laughter.
