Dear FutureMe,
This is actually a letter that i'm imagining you writing to me. It is 2015 and this will be from 2035. But I will send it to 2025.
So.. dear 34 year old josh, this is 54 y/o josh. 20 years seems like an impossibly long time, but it isn't and it will surely pass.
You right now are working extremely hard to achieve your goals with more discipline than you have ever had, and it is now paying off. You start a whole new career on Monday, in Web development! You are also president of your toastmasters group and lead organizer of hack the people. Those are big things! You are becoming a better leader and people person.
Things will change, life will rarely go as expected, there will be good times and bad. You will likely soon meet your partner for life.
Keep your ambitions high, but also remember to have fun! Success has diminishing returns as Kyle Dukelow so eloquently pointed out at toastmasters this week.
most of all, remember that the next 20 years will go by fast, and the more you make of each day, the more you will get out of life!
