A letter from June 27th, 2015

Dear FutureMe, So today was a freaking important day. Today the United States Supreme Court ruled that *** Marriage is legal in all 50 states. IM SO HAPPY. I figured June 26,2015 would be a date to go down in the history books so here is a letter describing it. You woke up in the morning, went downstairs and had some breakfast of pancakes because Stanley had had Luca over for a sleepover. You hadn't finished eating when Gabrielle came over with Liv, and Gabrielle and Mom left to go to the reservation and left you with Liv. You played guess who for a while and then had the boys play apples to apples jr. with you. Stanley and Luca put some music on and had the disco lights. The parents came home and you were still playing and listening to Flo Rida on Pandora. That station was not your choice. And then as you were sitting, Caitlin texted you and said "*** marriage is now legal in all 50 states". You had been looking at the *** marriage ruling just yesterday night wanting to know what the outcome was so you knew what she meant immediately. You sorta freaked out and clapped your hand to your mouth. You told Liv Luca and Stanley and then got up and ran upstairs with everyone else in tow. You said really excitedly to Gabrielle and Mom that the Supreme Court had declared *** marriage legal in all 50 states. After telling them that Caitlin had texted you, you went back downstairs and cleaned up the floor to have a sort of dance party. Right as everyone started to leave soon after you made a post saying that *** marriage was legal and that you were really proud of America. You continued on with your day pretty normally, but also really happily(besides the fact that you still hasn't found your jewelry which i bet u remember)you went to the mall and staples and target to get ready for camp. As you were walking back to the car you told mom about a text post you had seen on Instagram. Some people had tweeted "getting my wife and moving to Canada" "this nation is going to hell, I'm moving to Canada." Etc. the caption was "who's going to tell them" you thought that was pretty funny how dumb people could be. (Canada had legalized *** marriage just a little while ago). You went home and started to look up reasons why the *** marriage movement went so fast but didn't really find any good articles. Then Uncle Tom posted a picture on Facebook saying that although he doesn't hate *** people, he doesn't support them and he is a Christian who believes in the bible and *** marriage is a sin. And then dad got home from Las Vegas after making a huge deal with MGM Grand. So you went upstairs and made this. I just want to say I'm so happy. Being Pan I'm glad to know that wherever I go I can marry whomever I want. I know that many states are going to do all they can to push back on this like turning away *** customers and stuff, but this is just such a big deal. So when's people are talking about *** marriage being legal in all 50 states just read this and you will know exactly what happened. ITS LEGAL. IM SO HAPPY!
