Time Travelled — almost 10 years

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, I'm writing this on a boring Wednesday summer day. This should be the last summer that I stay at my parents house until graduation if even that. I feel very down right now. There's nothing to do in this city and I don't really want to get a job even though I know I need one. Ugh.. the struggle. What is 28 year old me like?! I assume that maybe you're married, possibly have a kid. POSSIBLY! After getting to school I came to the sudden realization that I don't want any kids anytime soon. I'm also not dating and don't do relationships. I really don't see the appeal, so when did that outlook change for you- if at all. Has your personality or anything changed? I know that with age and experience your outlook and perception of the world and it's surroundings/inhabitants can alter. Hopefully you still embody that chill, laidback, funny, down-to-earth person you've always been :) I also want to know how the world has changed in 10 years. What's so different. Right now Obama's still president, but a lot of candidates have already started their presidential campaigns. I drive a Mazda 3, which we wish I could keep forever. And gas is like $2.60. Are you a teacher now and if you are did you take a year break after graduation like you wanted to. If anything please tell me that you've traveled and were able to experience the world and different cultures. That's literally all I want out of life right now- to be able to see the world, especially for my future. I know that life doesn't always go according to plan but wherever you are and whatever you're doing I pray that you're happy. It's the most important thing. Hopefully whoever you're with makes you happy and the people you surround yourself with bring out the best in you! P.S I attached a picture of myself so you'd be reminded of how you looked 10 years ago at 18! I don't know why I'm not smiling but there I am. Hopefully my brows are still full and stay on fleek. I love you :) -See you then ;)
