A letter from August 2nd, 2014

Dear FutureMe, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! You're 30, an old man(if you haven't died before that). I'm currently in the Third Year of Engineering and still haven't found my passion in this life. I hope you have by now. If not, keep searching. You should have explored at least 5 countries by now. My dream is to go the USA and live there. I hope everything has turned out fine. Life's really short, and I mean it. I really hope you've enjoyed every bit of it so far. Live life with no regrets. Learn stuff! Don't be afraid to try new stuff, It's not trying that's really scary. You should learn a new language and then visit that country. You should search for the love of your life, if you haven't found her already. Make her happy everyday of your life. Make her feel so special. You know she deserves better. Remember the song, "Love her like she's leaving"-Brad Paisley. So far, you haven't found true love. Don't lose heart. I hope you've not grown cynical and proud. Most importantly: NEVER GIVE UP. DON'T QUIT. The best things in life are the ones worth fighting for. Don't make money your first priority. Happiness is much more important and what's infinitely more important is bringing happiness to those around you. I know you think I'm rather naive, It's true. I am really silly and I don't know much about this marvelous world. But I know that I know nothing(Socrates). Don't lose that spark of curiosity. Make mistakes!! How long will you be taunted by them? Everyone around you eventually dies, even you will. But, don't let that spark inside of you die. Follow your heart. Trust your instinct. Do the things you love doing with the people you truly love. Okay, enough with all the lectures. I'm 19 right now. This letter is written 11 years ago! :O how cool is that?? :D I'm sure you've forgotten about having written it by now. I'm so lazy! I sleep for 10-12 hours. It's not a habit I'm proud of. I love programming even though I'm not particularly good at it. I eat like a horse and I'm getting fat. Please exercise regularly. It sucks to be fat. Don't feel bad if you are. Just BURN it. Anyway, I've gotta go, exams coming up and I haven't studied anything. Give my love to everyone who's alive! BYE, Samuel,19
