Epilogue

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, The lowest-priced gas I could find was at ARCO for $3.21. A gallon of whole milk from Fry's is $2.59. A refill for a gallon of reverse-osmosis filtered water is $.20 at Safeway. A Clif bar is a dollar at most stores. A 55" Samsung 1080p LED TV is $1,199. That's not for a SmartTV. Remember SmartTV's? How dumb. The new iPhone 5s will be $199.99 with a 2-year agreement on September 23rd. You're not looking forward to the release because you work at Verizon and you don't want to deal with all of the tech issues iOS7 will have. A Coke is usually $1.25 for a 20oz bottle. The big thing right now for music is subscription services that allow you to stream whatever song you want, like Spotify or Google Play. You currently have six months free of Google Play, but man, that eats up a ton of data. Remember when that was a thing? Remember 5SecondFilms? What happens to internet videos now? Do they get put in a vault somewhere? Do computers have hard drives anymore, or is it all online storage? We're considering going into war with Syria right now, though they have not done a thing to the US directly. You wear a size 32/34 in Levi's. A decent pair of jeans costs about $50 or higher. The XBox One and the PS4 come out this December. Bluetooth speakers are all the rage right now. And portable chargers like the Mophie, because everyone's battery sucks on 4G. Thor 2 comes out soon. And The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Which is different then that other one. You remember. Remember hipsters? They have some strange music these days. A cup of ramen noodles is 25 cents. MySpace just relaunched and it's pretty cool, but I don't really see it taking off. Flouridated water is a big controversy right now. I hope they wound up removing that. The current war in Syria began on March 15, 2011 and has caused the ***** of approximately 100,000 people—about half of whom are citizens. Are magazines still a thing in your time? Their sales have went way down. And people with cable TV. I don't have it right now but I may if I get into advertising. The Chiefs just signed Alex Smith as their QB. I hope they have won a Superbowl in your time. I hope your life is good. Sincerely, 24-year-old Brett
