Dear FutureMe,
Time crawls at the beginning. Then walks when you're in your teens. You're in your twenties now and it's speed walking. Next it will be jogging, then running, and when you're an old man it will sprint. This letter sir is an alarm. You get them at different intervals in your life, this just happens to be one that you created yourself. You can choose to hit the "snooze" button if you want but know this, you have heard this alarm. Pay attention to it. Where are you at? Take stock of your life and your goals. You may not receive another alarm for 10 or 20 years. Learn (knowledge). Apply (wisdom). Be. Remember you will answer for EVERY idle word. Guard your tongue. It is a little member of the body but what a great fire that little member can kindle. The time thing you can do nothing about. It will catch you in the end just like it has caught every man on earth. Your only hope is that He comes before that moment but the times aren't looking right. Maybe your grand-childrens generation. If this does not happen you have to give it everything you got and extend it as long as possible. Your reward up there is dependent on what you do now. When you're buried it's too late. Make a difference now. Happy Birthday! The Big 30! Remember when you were a little kid and you always looked forward to 21? You could always imagine how it would be. Remember how past-21 was dark and hazy? You couldn't conceive of how it would be. What you would look like (balding). How your life would be. Well guess what. You're in that dark and haze now aren't you, and it's not so hazy when you're in it. Remember that. Yesterday, today, forever. "And 'lo I am with you always. Even unto the end of the Age." Even if you think it will be in 2 generations, He says his coming will be like a thief in the night. Stay vigilant, Beard! The pressure will increase as the time draws nigh. Stay strong. Still in Kung Fu? You will need those skills in the future. It looks dark and hazy from here. :)
