When I wrote this email to you, in the distant past, I had recently celebrated being in love with Kate for 10 years. 10 years of fun, happy times and in the scheme of things a pretty comfortable life (only 1st world problems! - thank Reddit for that one).
After our anniversary we had a rather rough time. As you may recall our beloved nan passed away and dearly missed Murphy did also. Both had lived for many many years, both giving joy in their own respected way. Both were missed then as i'm sure they are now. Did you renag on your statement of not getting another dog? The way I feel at the moment, how much I miss him, I would very much doubt it.
Once we had gotten over the loss, our attention and heart refocused on our unborn baby. Having had the 12 week scan all seemed great, we've yet to have the 20 week scan but assume all is doing well with our baby, who as you read this would be 9 and a half (wow, that's a weird thought!). Do they have any sisters or brothers? Are they playing sport, music, acting, dance, progamming or whatever new things that may be about in 2022. What's being over 40 like by the way?
At this moment we live in Cornwallis Gardens, and work at Sammons as a Recruitment Consultant. Do we still?
You've made great friends in Hastings, left a few behind in Tonbridge (they never come down), started to enjoy Ale (not the purfumed type, too much like Rose Water!) but have yet to see certain parts of the world, gotten Kate a ring and married her, paid off the mortgage (if this is possible). I'm sure that you and Kate are now married as that love can not be stopped. You love you now as much as you love her in 2012, the ring is i'm sure perfect. Well done on being a good person and being a supportive husband and father!
Healthwise, weird vision floatwer things, no longer smoking weed, fitness routines taken a back seat for a few weeks but hopefully all this is now sorted and you are a figure of health. If not sort it out!
Lifes great, carry on living it. Remember the ones you've shared your life with, treasure them and the memories. Yolo, or Yodo was a saying in 2012. Life within it, not by it.
