Dear FutureMe,
By the time you get this, you will have been halfway around the world and back. You will have seen the monuments, the castles, eaten the food and drank the wine, hiked the mountains, and met a slew of new friends across Europe. You will have chosen where to live and will be thriving. You will be probably leaps and bounds more dependent on your Father because you will have hung yourself out to dry on the winds of risk. Hopefully you will have started a book and taking classes on the history of English.
Today, I am sitting at my desk at ACE and hoping all the above will be true. I know myself pretty well by now, so I know that no matter how much change is going to pierce my heart, I will bounce back somehow and be making the most of what I have chosen.
Even though I am leaving behind a network that I've been building for the last 2 years and more, I know that I've got to fly again, and for real, and longer than ever before.
I also pray that by the time you read this, you will have met a man whom you have more respect for than any man you've ever met besides your dad.
I love you,
Sally Jean at 25.
