Dear FutureMe,
Its been a year since John left you. You felt alone, lost, and devastated. You had feared for at least 2 months that John would walk out and abandon you with a toddler and a newborn baby. Your fears came true on this day at 9pm.
6 months later and you've came a long way. You have learned to live alone and take care of your babies without his help. Just when your unemployment ran out and you thought you would be homeless, you find a small odd job and an extension of your unemployment funds.
You also began to date and met some great and not-so-great guys. You had your fun, and gained some inner strength.
You are also 3 months into a new relationship. You are not sure if this is "the one" but right now he's treating you better then anyone has.
Hopefully by the time you get this email you would have found a new job. Maybe you will be living in the same home, maybe not. Maybe your relationship is still going, if not maybe you found another amazing person.
You hit rock bottom with John, the only way now is up.
Love,
Dana
