Dear Future Me,
By now, you should be 21, which is pretty scary to think about even now. I really hope you've accomplished your goals—getting your car, traveling, and stepping out of your comfort zone. If there’s one lesson you should have learned by now, it’s that no one truly cares as much as you think. You are the main character and author of your story. If there’s something you want, go for it.
Heck, you might not even be alive to read this message, but I hope you are. If you are, I want you to look back on this day and reminisce about the feelings and thoughts going through my head. Life is speeding up. You’re turning 21 this year, but in the blink of an eye, you’ll be 25, then 30.
I hope you’ve lived a life you’re proud of, because the one thing we can never buy back is time. So make the most of it.
With love,
Your Past Self
