A letter from Jan 13, 2025

Dear FutureMe, How's it going? I hope you're doing way better than we are right now. If alls going according to plan, you should be graduated and moving out of your apartment soon. Let me tell you right now I'm just so nervous for what the future holds but you gotta have faith. If it's meant to be, God will guide us there. Just don't forget to give yourself some grace. I know this is something we struggle with, but we've been through a lot, and everything is going to work out. Just keep moving forward. :) How's your boyfriend doing? Did he get the apprenticeship? I hope we're still very strong relationship wise. There's a few more things we have to overcome and I know we will. We're working on patience too lol. Y'all got that apartment right??? You better! I wonder what job we have right now. We're we able to find another internship? Where? Did we have to get a different job outside of our degree, if so I hope it's something you enjoy. I think that's what have me the most scared; finding a job I can use my degree for. Can you say senioritis? Do we have Appa yet? I hope Dad will be ok without him. I know he says he doesn't like Appa, and he reminds him of mom, but I hope they have moments that no one else knows about, where they just comfort each other. I hope Orion's doing ok too, I know he's experiencing the same thing as me right now in figuring out what he wants to do after graduation. It's scary for real. But we'll be ok, and so will he. I hope you're able to see your sisters again. It kinda blew not being able to see them for Christmas last year, but the love's still there. Right now I feel like I'm drowning, and I so hope that you have things a little bit easier when you read this. The main and big stressor is that **** ebill and your freakin credit card. I hate that Eastern is so **** expensive, could you imagine if we went somewhere else??? Oh my Lord, that would not have been good. When, yes I said when, we get that ***** down, you better control that spending. And not in the I have a spending problem if anyone else reads this, in the $500 max on that dang card and I mean it. Having the credit card bill be as high as it is right now is stressing me the hell out. I hope it's down though when we read this again. That aside, Congratulations! We graduated college! Now the real work begins, now our life really begins and I hope we're ready for it. Dang girl, we're hoping for a lot this year aren't we lol. But in Jesus name, I hope will turn into I'm glad I did, I'm glad I could, and I'm glad the Lord made me able to. There's for sure more to come, but I'm glad the Lord got me through 2024, and He'll get me through 2025! The years half way over, that's kinda crazy. Time is flying and girly I hope reading this makes, you smile looking back to the beginning of the year. You might tear up a bit but I hope we can smile and answer some of these questions with confidence and a full heart. Good luck and to anyone else reading this, I hope your 2025 is going and ongoing.
