A letter from Jan 03, 2025

To whom this may concern My name is China Wallace I am an employee at wellbrook of South Bend. On Tuesday December 31st I was scheduled to work 11:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. second shift when we arrive the first thing we do. is help first shift finish day scheduled shift by helping in the dining room and whatever else I help is needed into 1:00 is which we have huddle and then second shift start they shift and on Tuesday December 31st 2024 me China dietary aide Mike was the cook Johnny was the dishwasher and Steven was the second dietary aide everything was okay at the beginning of the shift when first shift and second shift begin then things started to get a little confusing when second shift begin I my opinion is I feel a lot of people was very irritated and agitated and was not having a good day as normal but situations started to get strange with the dishwasher Johnny in the Aide Steven ok at beginning of dinner we both me China and Steve start with the dining room from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m and at 5:00 p.m. is when the second I did a go and serve the room trays and the first aid is continue working the dining room and busing the tables helping take residents back but for some reason this day Johnny and Steve was very off you can tell they both was not they self it was very agitated and mad which I didn't know exactly why Steve was not himself he was disappeared or not to be found when I did find him he seen to be very agitated we will have a few words and we will continue our shift Johnny was very agitated I really didn't understand what was going on I will talk to the Cook Mike he feel he didn't know really what was going on but the best thing we can do is make sure the residents received they dinner and finish our shift it was one incident where it was time to bust the tables and I guess Steve and Johnny had some type of confusion or grudge against each other so they wasn't talking much to each other so I was communicating with both of them separately at this time it was around 4:40 I continue working in the dining room in and out the kitchen making sure the resident received a meals passing out drinks making sure the residents get they desserts and helping take residents back to day rooms I also was trying to bus table to make sure that the dining room is presentable for when more residents come to sit for meals I passed Steve taking a resident back to they room and asked if he can take dishes off the table he said he's not doing Johnny job do not take dishes off the table let him do it I took the resident back I came back no dishes was taken off the table and and then I continue in the kitchen and I asked Johnny to let me see his car so I can take the dishes off the table so I start busting the tables I came back in the kitchen with the car and Steven was at the hot box with a strange face and said for real China you going to bust the dishes you a joke I look at him and say I am not a joke I am doing my job the dining room is my job I take the car to Johnny which the dishwasher and I returned back to the dining room continue working my shift as best as possible the night of December 31st 2024 was not a good night for me and I failed it was not a good night but any worker that night it was a very very bad day and I really apologize and hope things get better
