A letter from Dec 28, 2024

Dear FutureMe, 2024 is ending. 2025 sounds like it's going to be a great year! A lot of things seem to be happening in my (our) life for the first time. Getting a job, doing fun new things, dating, edging towards graduation, whatnot. I have resolved to keep up all the great work I've been doing in 2024 in 2025, and do better as much as I can. But sometimes, life is not about doing better; it's about living, and living happily and completely. You're nearing the end of college. Time to ponder deeply about your next steps. Work a few years, study again? That's what I have in mind now. Does something else look like a better option to you as you read this? Go for it. How is Sumitra doing? Did you go on any great trips recently? Who are your closest associates these days? Are you going to all the kutcheries in Trivandrum and Kochi: who's new? I know for a fact that Vivek Sadasivam is going to make it big in the Carnatic music scene pretty soon. I can feel it.
