A letter from Dec 08, 2024

Dear FutureMe, Hey you. Usually when I send you messages it's often mean and super harsh but not this time cause god knows you're going through so much right now. They're saying Syria is going to be free anytime now and people are happy (Muslims mainly) and it's a good thing I suppose to end all of this **** and have Syria given back to it's people. However you're scared ********, just the idea of Islamists ruling the country is terrifying. You don't want to wear the hijab or be forced to do other things like that and be robbed of your freedom. You don't want to be ******** or any of your friends and family. Idk how to feel you're crying in your bed again I mean typical you. I hope by the time you get this message you're still alive in a democratic Syria where civilian rights are guaranteed and if that's not the case I hope you're long gone. I love you girl stay strong, dark times lie ahead and I hope you don't grieve for any of your family members.
