A letter from Dec 08, 2024

Dear Future Me, Hi, you're probably 18 years old now. On this day, December 8, 2024, you're sitting alone on the couch and writing this letter for you. You will wonder what happened on these days and think about the feelings you've felt so I wrote this to remind you. Right now, you're in love with a guy, his name is Rafael, what a beautiful name, right? I'm in love with his name as much. His smile was like literally the sunshine in my dark days and he even had dimples too! Just seeing him in the hallway completes my day, it's already a bonus if we locked eyes. His eyes were very expressive, something that made me fall in love immediately. Rafael made me feel all the good things in this world, though you're still not together. He made me feel genuine happiness. Just talking about him made me happy. Whenever he's not around, I try to say his name or talk about him just to put more of him in this world. I did many things for this guy that you won't even believe, I bet. But you know how bad I am at making decisions, right? I am indecisive and I always end up getting negative outcomes. But this one, God, I don't care and I won't care if it may not end up the way I wanted it to be. I just want to make an effort for him, I want to show my love for him. And I may be indecisive but deciding to love Rafael is something that I am certain. My heart is happy right now, it is full of hope and love. Rafael is really a good guy, though I still don't know him personally but I can see right through him. I hope after 6 months, you're still loving the same guy, because he is worth every ounce of your love.
