A letter from Jul 26, 2024

Time Travelled — about 1 year

Peaceful right?

hey future kai writing this jul 26th 2024 so remember how you met a girl in april? i think you’re going to break up soon. her parents found out about the two of you. and right now as of 1:30 am you’re trying to accept it, you’re distracting yourself like you’re doing right now. but that’s okay, you have already cried, but was it enough? you have always restricted yourself to feel things, you bottle it up and you yourself is a witness of how much a mental breakdown not opening up causes you. but hey i don’t blame you, as a child no one taught you how to express emotions in the first place. but back to this girl - she might be the only person you really liked so on the verge of breaking up you asked her for space. so you can detach yourself from her. cause you’re afraid you’re going to feel so much pain watching her walk away. but don’t worry. i think 3 years from now multiple people will walk away from your life, and just let them. remember that theory? the slideshow one you stumbled upon from watching too much tiktok. anyway, you’re about to enter college. don’t take it too hard. i know everyone expects you to do well considering your future school holds a high academic standard. but if you’re ever reading this and you’re writing idk a research, let this be an encouragement to continue learning. you love that stuff. even tho you’re tardy most of the time i know learning fascinates you. kai pls love your parents more, your best friend judea, right now they’re the only ones who will be there for you. keep them close to you, don’t be afraid to show that you care for them. and please don’t kys. i know you hate yourself. i know you think you’re a bad person. i hope a year from now you don’t feel that way anymore.
