A letter from Jul 24, 2024

Hi Future Me, I hope you are doing okay. It's been rough these past couple of years, especially the last year but I think I'm doing okay now. I hope you got into college and you are excited and you aren't as nervous as I am now. I hope you still enjoy writing even if it may be about different things now and that senior year went okay. I hope that Dad's doing okay and you've visited Mom recently. But, I get it. It's hard to see the grave even now, maybe it got easier. I hope it got easier. I'm doing this for that online program we did, so remember you have friends, that we enjoy painting little clay figurines, that the world didn't end when you turned 16 even if it felt like it did. Hopefully, there isn't a war in the future, because let's be honest here I wouldn't survive in the military. Anyways, I hope you figured it all out, or at least a little bit of it.
