A letter from Jul 16, 2024

Dear FutureMe, I hope you are well. I hope you love love and finally accepted the defeat that true love comes with. It is hard to find it but I hope you did and took it in. I pray you no longer fear those around you when it comes to choosing who to love. I hope you love unapologetically without putting the other party in a position of feeling unloved. You have scared for so long, given up those ones you cherished just because of people's words, you have been so hardcore when it came to being love and you didn't easily let people into your life with fear of being hurt. Well, I hope you have outgrown that. I hope you are now vulnerable in love, feeling and cherishing every moment so that in case it all comes to an end, at least you lived. It's better to have lived, loved and lost than to live in fear, not enjoy the moments and still lose it. But I pray that love stays. I hope you never lose it. Love, D.
