Dear Future Me,
I am in an evolving phase right now. I am constantly trying to find myself. I have found some great things. We are getting good at writing. We listen to podcasts at night and let our imagination play movies. We listen to music we like, read fiction, and yes, we do everything we like to do, not what others want us to do.
I am slowly learning that my family (parents and my brother) are trying to turn me into something I don't want to be. It's hard, and I don't want any part of them in my life.
I am trying to work on my happiness, and yes, slowly but surely, it's working. I have also researched different degree programs we want to be in. Hopefully, by the time you receive this letter, you will be enrolled in one of them.
You are amazing, and always remember to be a kind-hearted human. You are something I aspire to be.
Looking forward to meeting you in a year!
