A letter from Jul 11, 2024

Dear FutureMe, hey girl, welcome to the first of potentialy many future emails lol. just want to check in and allow yourself to reflect a little. I'm gonna ask some questions and answer them, you obviously change your answer to how they fit now lol. 1. are we still at our first job? i definitely am but thats because ive only been there for a month and a half lol. 2. any thoughts on potentially studying at uni? i have no plans to do so as of right now but i am open to changing my mind so thought id ask. 3. if you're still at your first job, have you thought any more about what you want to do as a career? or are we happy with where we are? im happy with where i am job wise but still have no clue about the future lol. 4. have we picked up any new hobbies? i wouldnt say its a new hobby, but i have stuck at embroidery for now, im currently working on calcifer on my bag lol. 5. how is our mental health? im ngl, i am struggling over here lol. idk what do do to make it better or even what the cause is but i seriously hope that were better now. 6. whats our housing situation? im still living with mum but thats normal lol. 7. have you been on any trips recently? i went to Lanzarote a couple months ago and it was so fun. 8. have you got any trips coming up? ive got the Conan Gray concert coming up and also Greece next year, which by the time you get this, you wouldve already been. i hope it was fun and enjoyable. 9. whats your favourite book atm? it doesnt have to necessarily be a good book lol, just one youve enjoyed. right now mine is either 'butcher and blackbird' or 'reckless', although i am still reading reckless lol. 10. is there anything you do or dont regret? this ones a tough one. there are so many things that you can regret, but theres also no telling what may have happened instead if you changed it. i dont regret dropping one of my 'best friends' piper. she was just draining and i feel so much better now shes out of my life. i do still regret sort of falling out with sophia as well during falling out with piper. i am so happy that we are back to how it was now. i dont know where ill go in life or if ill do anything important, but i do have hopes that no matter what, i am happy. i wish myself all the best and hope to achieve any goals i may have. remember, you are worth it. lots of love, you from 11/07/2024
