A letter from June 16th, 2024

Dear FutureMe,
you're moving to china in a year. Crazy! who knew? and coming from someone who used to hate learning mandarin :) .. you'll be fine.. at least that's what I'm telling myself. don't really want to know what's the worst case scenario, so I'm just gonna convince myself that, i guess. nobody said it's gonna be easy, the only thing they said is that it's going to be hard. you know what you want, you know what it cost, you know what you should do. so do it. no one is gonna be better at pushing yourself other than you. Dad is not gonna be here forever, and you also know that (even though you're mentally denying it). 

"High achiever, don't you see? baby, nothing comes for free" 

but what if i pushed myself too hard and failed? I'm scared. 

shut up. do it first then you can think about that..it's harsh i know, but it's your dream.

you'll be fine. you've survived this long, right? might as well be Iron Man at this point :)
