Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Hello my friend. 5 years ago you were: Dealing with a lot of stuff. You just attended your 10 yr. h.s. reunion. Surprisingly you had an awesome time, it was good to catch up with so many old friends. You also lost 23 lbs and 9" in 2 months in preparation for the reunion. Way to kick some ass! Currently you are 175lbs, but there's still room for improvement even if everyone thinks you're looking fit. Are you still fit or did you turn into a fatty? Remember the day after the reunion? You had the hardest day you had ever breathed. L met you at Starbucks and the two of you had the time of your life for 5 hours, talking about the unfathomable onnection you both shared. At times both of you just stopped and stared into eachother's eyes, never doubting what the other was thinking. It was miserable delight. You knew at the end you would say goodbye forever, knowing that she still loves you even though she's married. Being an upstanding woman she decided it was too hard to just be friends if she was married. Do you remember the way you cried in your room that night? The next day? And the day after that? And now here it is her birthday and you still can't shake her from your registers. What was the purpose of it all? I don't know but I hope you have figured it out in five years. If so, be sure to come back and tell me because right now, my head is swimming in muck. Even with all this crap remember how surprised you were to be on the same page with AW? Right now you're wishing she'd move back from the east coast, so you could build a better friendship, but who knows. What happened with all that? Did she move back? Are you guys better friends? More? At this point in your life you've realized that you'd really like to do a little traveling. You're thinking about selling some of your stuff, saving your pennies and heading to...._______? Europe? Thailand? Nebraska? :) I hope you traveled somewhere outside the U.S. 5 years is plenty of time to save enough money to go somewhere far away. Have you bought a house yet? Are you married? Kids? If not get on the ball! If you wait any longer you'll be blowing out dust on your wedding night! Take care future self. You deserve the best, keep studying and searching remember: "Whoever enjoys his life is doing the creator's will". Are you still enjoying life? From, your 28 yr. old self.
