Letter To the Future Me
Hello future Alexander Slone! I hope you are doing well and enjoying your first college year. I hope you are doing well and feel victorious about getting there. I know that leading up to your college, you did not think you would get there, but here you are; feel proud! Also, even along the way, you made some goals that I hope you have completed and are striving to make a habit of.
I know that when I created the workout goal, I ensured my health was good. I know that I cringed and believed that I could not make it. It was one of the hardest of the three challenges and something I was scared to do. However, you kept up with it. Now, look at yourself and feel much better. I know that this is something we struggled to do, but I think I found a great motivation, and with that motivation, you could make a great habit. When returning to one, Mom said she talked about weaknesses, and I believed that this is one of our most significant weaknesses. When I was given the opportunity to reach such a goal, I jumped at the chance.
Along with the fitness goal, I made it our goal to stay and grow in communication with the family. I know that these past few months before graduating, Mom and Dad were very strong with us, and sometimes I would be irritated even when communicating. I hoped you become better at this. I love spending time with the family and hearing all the laughs and just great memories that we shared. Sometimes, I would be upset that I would cause issues so that the rest of the family would be able to have a better time. When you go, you have multiple memories with the family, many good ones, and one that I can look at and remember all the good times we had together.
Finally, this one is more or less the truly external self-improvement goal. We both know the organization is not one of our strong suits, but we try. I know my calendar is kind of used at the moment. However, it could be better to definitely make sure my phone calendar is utilized. I hope that when we are in college, everything is organized and also that are calendar is fully labeled and whatnot. I know we both hate disorganized stuff and yet we do nothing to fix it. Typical teenager stuff.
Lex when you are in college I believe and hope for this stuff to happen. I know that I am scared to do this, but know I must. I am not a young kid anymore. I am becoming a young adult and even though that it is a cool thing, more responsibilities. I’m scared, but I need to get this done! We can do this; we got it. Whatever goals we put up we will complete and achieve it. It will be hard at first, but after each success and achievement, it will do on of two things. One, makes us better and more useful in society and two it allows us to grow in self-confidence.
Sincerely,
Past Alexander Slone
