Dear FutureMe,How are you doing dear?
I hope everything is okay for you. I'm sending you this letter on your 18th birthday because I wanted to be there with you on that special day.
First I wanted to thank you for everything. Thank you for supporting me through everything. Thank you for putting me on self-improvement so young. Thank you for helping me heal and move on.
Today, you're 18. That means you're officially legally old enough to do whatever you've always wanted to do.
But first listen to me. Right now you still have 1 year to go, one year and then you'll be able to go to London and do what you've always been willing to do. So go for it and study as hard as you can. Forget about everybody, do not care about them. All you should be thinking about is getting that degree with good grades and getting out of that country.
You can't miss this. I've told you a lot of times that you should be in complete focus but now is the time to go all for it.Focus on you this school year. It's only 10 months, go monk mode, forget about everyone, read, study, don't even sleep if you have to but make sure that you're ready to go to London and start everything.
Listen, if you're reading this right now, that means that you continued and stayed consistent. Look I don't know what happened, maybe you stopped, maybe you didn't but I hope you stayed consistent and never stopped learning. And if you didn't, then I want you to get back on it because otherwise you don't even have to worry about getting there because you won't. So continue, keep going forward and stay strong. I know you can do this.
You have the age to get your drivers license so go get that done. Change your friends, remember that you're the average of the 5 people you spend time with. Be more elegant, dress better, talk smarter and know more. And please don't make me feel bad about believing in you.
Remember that you have to be uncomfortable for a year or two to be comfortable for the rest of your life.
I love you,
K
