Christmas tree

Time Travelling — 5 months

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Despite of the fact that every year I try to convince Jason to buy a smaller Christmas tree this year was not diferent. I use all my relevants arguments to persuade him such as " We won't be at home for Christmas day" ," We spent too much this year" or even "We better save to buy you a new car"( he wants a the Scion) he still wants the tradition huge and "fat" Christmas tree. Truly my real reason is that I feel so bad having a huge douglas fur kind of tree for only 15 days. It takes about 5 or 7 years to get a tree that tall and we have for abouy 2 weeks. What a waste! Perhaps I 'm not into a traditional ways of celebrating christmas having a real tree. ( People say that the brazilian are destroying the the World's lung when desmantamento in Amazon are reported!!!)Anyways... every year we spend at least one day going to many Christmas tree lots ( every year seems like the lots are increasing,we can see from the freeway everywhere,I wonder if the trees multiplies as well) but this year we miracously went to only one lot, the same we went last year and that time was faster and we asked to open only one tree ( the trees here come tied up as they wearing in force shirt)that was a surprise to find a perfect tree in less the one hour. Convincing myself that I'm in USA and I should follow the tradittion of having a tree alive, not really alive because after they were cut out from the soil they are pretty much DEAD! I chose on tree that had differents features that really catched my eyes or maybe because I felt sorry for her ( in Brazil trees are feminine, a arvore) she wasn't full enough some parts in bottom were missing and some branches were longer than other, was clear that nobody would buy that tree , Jason was the first one who rejected the poor girl. That Christmas tree life were meaninless however if she was still in the forest and least she would survive for hundreds years or be a shelter form many creatures but she will probally end up in trash can after Christmas because Jason and many other not only want a fresh tree but they want a PERFECT one ohhhhh... Finally after decided and had chosen a perfect tree the helpers tied our(?) tree in the top of car, our lovely 82 volvo that was just like me the cumplice of this forest delaceration.
