A letter from Oct 18, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hi, umm idk if it's normal to be nervous at my future self but i am nervous. Anyways how are we, how have we been happy, did we graduated? Are we feeling well? Are we going to a university? is our dream of baseball coming true? i haven't yet but you better have gotten a homerun in high school that's one of our dreams right there. I expect you to have like 36 by then. I mean you must know we expect the best and only the best for ourselves. right now I feel like i'm going to have the best season in the world next season. I am so excited to start. You must know more than anyone how much baseball means to us. Oh and you can't forget that you need to be ace of the team no exceptions ok. The team is horrible rn i mean last season i was starting to just lose hope but i feel so pumped up rn you wouldn't be able to believe it. Just incase you don't remember this is the year where you got your own personal bat and net. It's so fun to use it i feel like i'm actually getting better at it. Baseball. You might be too good to remember now but right now in 2023 i feel like i can't do this, I feel like I started too late and that there's only so much i'll be able to do before i graduate. I feel like i'm gonna end up good but i just think I'll end up good enough for universities. But there's also this side of me that is currently winning rn that tells me we are going to be in the hall of fame for our high school and for an MLB team. Anyways i can't wait to proceed this season Coach Zae already told me this is supposed to be my break out season and I feel so confident that i believe in him. Only you and I know how we are at the moment so let's show everyone how great we are. Also right now i'm the second strongest in the team and as you may know we don't like that A*** is number one right now. So i'm going to keep working every day to do this right. And be the best in a sincere way of course. I hope your still with your girlfriend too and you better be thinking about marrying her at some point. She really makes us happy and she understands us so much. Right now I don't want to say it is the best part of our life but it's pretty nice. I hope I am way better then. We get worried about what other people say a lot and it's not good at all but sometimes it's all we need to get way better. Sometimes getting hated on it's the best motivation you can get. Sometimes you just need an extra push and hate can help if you're the type that likes to prove others wrong many like to hate because they feel like the can't ever do. So say nothing just show them what you're good at and what you can do the best possible so they don't have anything to say to you but good. Sorry, I just thought you might want to have some inspiration in your life because it's nice to hear it from time to time. And knowing me when you read this your going to probably say "Who does this kid think he is" and so yea thank you for reading this and have fun in the adult life good luck.
