A letter from October 5th, 2023

Dear FutureMe, It’s scary. Writing a letter to you, a me that doesn’t yet exist. A me that I don’t know. It truly scares me. I think maybe I’m afraid of the future. Of what it holds. I don’t want to lose anyone else. I don’t want more tragedy. But as we get older, so does everyone we love. Tell your family you love them. Spend as much time as you can. Be present. I hope everyone is okay. I hope you’re happy. I love you
