A letter from Jul 19, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hi Jonah, how have you been holding? When you were writing this letter, you were still upset. You’ve recently lost your phone again and you just heard an earful criticism from one of the doctors. You know you’ve been handling your situations really well nowadays, right? And you should be proud for doing so. By this time, it’s either you probably finished clerkship or just about to. I’m proud of you. You’re getting there, babe. Next up would be reviewing for the boards. This is not new to you. You’ve done this before and you’ll surely nail it. Remember the promise you made after you took the LET and you didn’t make it to the top list? You said: “Babawi ako sa next board exam ko. I’ll make sure to make it to the top by that time”. Well, this is what you’ve been waiting for. You’ll make it this time, okay? BELIEVE. WORK YOUR WAY UP THE HARDEST YOU CAN. Think of all the possible incentives you’ll get lol. Make mam Gracie proud of you, babe. Think of your small yet sincere circles, cha and Toni. You’re not alone for they are rooting for you. Now, get your *** off the bed, study, review a lot, and again, treat the board exam as if your life depends on it. Don’t mind other people ‘coz it’s you whose making progress for your self and your performances. No matter how the doctors discourage you, please stay strong and keep going. FOCUS IS THE KEY.
