A letter from Jul 10, 2023

Dear FutureMe, Hello! i know it hasnt been long since i wrote the last letter but i feel like so much has happened that i have to tell you about! first off, we moved! im sure i told you that in my last letter since i sent it sometime in march. dang its already been 4 months since then thats crazy. anyways! its summer right now and we only have about 40 days untill school starts again. im not happy about that lmao but what can i do. when we came here we went to school for like the last 2 weeks of class which was useless but what can you do! so the school is tinier than our last school, and i mean much tinier. at east wake walking from one class to the other in the six minutes they gave us was a struggle and there wasnt anyroom for dillydallying unless you wanted to have to run to your next class. here, we have five minute to transition from class to class and in that time you could walk from one side of the campus to the other like 10 times and still have time to make it to your next class. the school is that tiny but, with having a tiny school it also means that they are flat broke and can only afford to have ellectives that are "useful" which means i cant do theater or art anymore. ok, well cant is a strong word. i can do it i just dont want to go threw an entire interview/ audition process just to make it into the class. but who knows, maybe at some point ill change my mind and end up doing it anyways. i guess youll know since ill have graduated by the time you read this. isnt that crazy that in almost exactly 2 years youll be reading this exact letter along with the other two ive already written and the ones im sure ill write at some point. anyways, along with the school being super tiny (500 kids and only about 60 kids in my grade) that also means that we've got the whole "small town school" thing going on. everyone already has their friends and many arnt interested in making new ones. it'll be ok though ill deal with it. also my classes for my junior year! im not 100% sure what mine will be as of now but i can tell you what i signed up for! for science i did chemistry which im positive ill get because its a required class the same goes for spanish which im NOT looking forward to. apperently its cuban spanish which is entirely different from the spanish i know which means that im screwed. how'd we do on it anyways? honestly ill be happy if i get a c+ in that class, exspecially once we get to spanish 2 and we have to actuall speak it. UHG i might as well be resigned to my fate cause ur girls gonna fail it. ive never been good at language classes. anyways, i also signed up for AP lang so cross my fingers i get it cause if not im going to be doing normal english and i DO NOT want to do that cause my GPA is already going to be screaming for help rn since this school doesnt have any honors classes. which is stupid might i add because this school is like 3 or 4 years BEHIND what we were doing in NC but they were like "WeRe So AdVaNcEd ThAt We DoNt NeEd HoNoRs ClAsSeS" i cant litterally its so dumb man. anyways so thoughs are all of my core classes but i also have ACT test prep which i have to do good on becuase it decide on if i get to do the early collage program in my senior year or not. if we were in NC right now i would be doing it in my junior year but nooooooo you have to have ACT scored to take them here. its dumb. anyways and then that leaves one elect ive since we have 7 classes a day. so i signed up for welding as my first choice since i wanted to do something with welding for a little while but the kids arround me said that your supposed to take agriculture 1 first but thats stupid, so ignored them. anyways, if it is true that you cant do it untill you've done ag 1 then i also signed up for speech 1 which is like speeches? which ig is the closest that ill get to module UN or theater. so yeah, thoughs are all my classes i choose. ig you'll already know which ones i got? i think i put something in my last letter about hoping that i stay in contact with all of my friends, well i hate to break it to you but ive only really talked to amy and evelyn consistantly since weve moved. its alright tho because evelyn is amazing and amy and i are pen pals now. or well at least trying to be lmao. when i moved she gave me a letter to "start us out" and it had her adress in it so since i finially got stamps about a week ago i sent her a letter and i waited like 2 weeks and when i didnt get one in return i texted her to make sure she got it and she said she did and that she sent me one but we found out it got shipped to the wrong place lol. she put VA instead of LA so were crossing our fingers it gets here but if it doesnt she said she would send me anouther one so it will be all good. im really excited! if that letter is coming than it should be here very soon! like the next few days! did we ever get the first letter? are we still pen pals with amy? are we still texting evelyn? oh yeah! also are we still taking that trip after graduation? rn the plan is that once i graduate to take like a 2 week trip to VA and spend time with the family and also some time with my friends if i still have any ya know. im hoping but im also being realistic about them sticking around. but ontop of the trip to VA after graduation mom and dad also said that they would fund a trip abroad too! im still thinking about mine but cj is going to japan with maddy and posibly kayla! im thinking probably europe so that i can see bits and pieces of the countrys their as well. were not sure if its even going to hav=ppen right now because mom still has to go back to school because theirs no jobs around here for her. speaking of jobs! me and cj really want to get jobs but mom wont let us lmao. she wants us to wait untill she goes back to school but she isnt even starting the process and stuff yet. im hoping she starts that soon because i really do want to get a job soo becuase i need ALOT of new cloths before the school year starts and me and cj also want to take conner to watch the FNAF movie in theaters but im not sure if thats going to happen if we dont get jobs soon. im hoping that when ever we do get jobs that i can get one as a waitress again because theres alot of steak houses around here. being a waitress was my favorite of all the jobs ive done. i can only hope for now! mom also finially started the process to get my learners permit and cjs drivers licence. im not sure how long it will take to get us into actuall driving school though because weve had our learners for our learners (idk its stupid) for almost a month now and mom still hasnt signed us up for driving school. OH ALSO i heard mom talking about possibly going to VA for 4th of july next year because she already misses the family. im not sure if it was a joke or not but if it isnt then im not sure if well actuall go down for 4th of july or if well go down for like thanksgiving or christmas. did we end up making a trip to VA? a few random things now: im growing out my hair again! its way to humid down here for short hair to be manageable so im growing it out. its at a really awkard length right now (half of it is at my chin and the other is at my shoulders and its super choppy). im hoping that once i get my hair trimmed i can make it look better. we can only hope that they dont make it look even worse lmao! yesterday i locked myself out of my room for the first time here! it was terrible because it was 6 am and i had just finished a book (the last percy jackson one) and i went to go to my bedroom and i walk oh so confidently straight into my door because it didnt open. i ended up texting evelyn about it and spent the next 20 minutes trying to find either mom or dads little screw drivers. when i failed i asked mom (who didnt know where they were) and then i asked dad who showed me were his were and then proptly fell back alseep. if only he stayed up a little longer he would have found out that they didnt work because the neck was to thick so i had to go on a whole nother trip to try and fins moms because their thinner and it took me like anouther 25 minutes (inclueding the time i paced around trying to think about how to do it without a screw driver.) i eventually found it and got my door unlocked 45 minutes later. i just finished the percy jackson series for the first time! it was good! i think clarrice was my favorite (ignore the butchering of her name) or nico. i liked the ending of the series. and now im reading the harry potter series again! although im not sure how long thats gonna last. so far ive read 18 books this year which isnt bad since my goal is 30 (i lowered it because 50 was wayyyyy to much). i also finished the it ends with us series which took me soooooo long to get around to reading the second book. the second one was deffinitly better than the first. oh! and i am up to 58 books on my shelves and now have to stack the new books i get ontop of my shelf!!! ALSO THEY TOOK A SILENT VOICE OFF OF NETFLIX!!!! that is my favorite movie man and i was so sad and confused when i went to watch it a few days ago and it was gone. i had to go find it on youtube but their was a really good copy of it so im not complaining to much. OH YEAH THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!! i almost forgot but i have a doctors appointment on the 19th which is like 9 days and im going to bring up my joints again! fingers crossed! third times the charm right? im hoping thats true because i dont know what im going to do if its now because i wont have anouther doctors appointment untill next year. also i might have to get shots so im hoping that they dont do them on my left arm lmao are they faded yet? i hope so their so annoying exspecially since im almost 5 months free man. on a more positive note cj has a boy friend. she met him in our last little bit of school at the new place and he lives in our nieghbor hood. only two doors down but ofc u would know that. hes alright right now. MUCH better than chase man. im glade she broke up with him. anyways but no he comes over almost everyday, which is kinda annoying. they kiss really loud and since im their own little chouffers to take timmy back to his house i have to listen to t for like 5 minutes EVERY DAYYYYYY. hes a little bit clingy but what can you do. its not my relation ship so idc. welp! i cant think about anything else to talk about and i have been writing this for almost 2 hours now so im going to let you gooooo! have fun doing what ever your doing future me! (hopefully going to college to be a biomacanical enginer) i hope my butchering of spelling and grammer didnt **** you to much! have fun reading what ever other letter other future mes have written!
