Dear FutureMe,
I wanted to write this letter for you in 3 or 5 years. I’ve put it to one year at this point because I am hoping that by then, your life would’ve change. And if not, it needs to. Change it now. Move now. Stop trying to please everybody. Do you. Do what your heart desire. You deserve a future that you are looking forward to. You deserve an avenir that will make you happy. Don’t let other people’s expectations of you deemed your light. I want you to promise me that. I want you to promise to yourself as of now, that you are going to do everything that is in your power to work towards the future that YOU want.
How was your solo trip to Paris? Did you enjoy it? Did you stay longer? Did you went back? What was the takeaway from that trip?
Did you went back to school? Did you went in cinema? Did you start writing again? You’ve got so many ideas that need to see the day!!
Is creativity finally prominent in our lives?
Are we ready to head where we were meant to?
Because girly… you heart yearns for adventure. You’ve been denying it for so long. It’s making US miserable! You know what you want. You know your wishes and desires. Indulge in them. Don’t shy around it. And even if it’s chaotic, embrace it. It’s part of yourself. It’s part of your journey. It’s a part of you. Be comfortable is being your imperfect self.
I hope that from then, we’ve taken a bigger step towards our dream. Your inner child is waiting. It wants to rejoice. You know what to do.
Also, stop being so hard on yourself. It’s okay. You’ve got this. One step at a time babyyy!
Life is meant to lived. Stop being afraid of it.
Much love
Your 24 year old self.
Maybe I should send this in two years… Yup.
See you in two years!!!!
