Today, (tuesday) March 21, 2006 you woke up at 7:50, late for school. You decided to go in even later, after you finished your Environmental Science paper. School was a drag, as usual, but it was a beautiful day outside. After school you went straight home and drove to the park around 4:30 (after your mom gave you $20 for the 2nd day in a row). There were very many people there and you sat under a tree and finished reading the book youve been working on the last 2 weeks - Pure. You sat under that tree and waited for anyone you know. People left, noone came. You switched locations and moved to the swinging bench you normally sit on. You felt so...exposed. And you didnt like it. You grew tired of waiting and walked over to Garrisons to get an iced chai. Rachel was there and you talked for a little while, used her cell phone to call Joey and walked over to his house. You got really high with him and watched the end of a Showtime movie called Weeds. You felt better. You and Joey drove to meet Shannah, Mari, and Kathleen at the park. Shawn and Rufus soon joined the group. They spun each other around holding on to each others hands/ankles while you watched and your sides hurt from laughing. Rachel and Caitlin walked over and Rachel showed you the place her car had been hit. All of you walked to Mariners where you shared fries, but you left early with Shawn because you both needed to go home. Well, you didnt know if you needed to go home, but since you didnt have a cell phone you decided to not keep your mother up worrying. Shawn told you he wanted to hang out with you tomorrow, and maybe fly a kite.
Mari left you a comment that said "I love you and I am going to miss you so much when you leave. It just hit me"
I hope that right now you have friends as good as these. And if these people have left your life, I hope you realize how wonderful they were to you. I hope you know they loved you and the time you shared were amazing. Was it worth it? I hope it was.
