A letter from Jan 03, 2023

Dear futureus, this is maiko currently writing the letter and salome sitting beside me giggling while we think about what to write. Salome's turning 16 this march & Maiko is turning 18 this june... in this letter, me and salome are both going to assume what the future is going to look like for eachother. 1) Salome -about Salome, from maiko "I think, your style will still be the same. I also think you'll start wearing mascara (and probably gloss??) more frequently. You'll probably re-pierce your ears again and not choose full gold earrings and get an infection AGAIN... and if you dye your hair for the first time it'll turn out bad and you won't like it. like you'll dye your and love it the first day but then end up hating it the next because it doesn't match your clothing or something. I think you'll start hanging out with people outside of the house once summer starts, but with who and how frequently I honestly don't know. You'll probably be able to play guitar amazingly by the time we both read this letter... also I think you'll start growing out your hair and be obsessed with it being down to your butt. you will also have butt hair like it or not." -about Salome, from salome "I'm going to have good style; I'll still be friends with Anna D; Keso M; & maybe the other two...we'll probably have doggos.I'll take off my braces hopefully. I'll have another halo. _____________________________ 2) Maiko -about Maiko, from Maiko "I feel like the moment I turn 18, I'll pierce my entire face and no one will let me back in the house LMAO. I'll probably really really want to dye my hair & if I do, it'll first be red or something dark. I'll probably look for a job as soon as possible, while still being on the income of my parents for extra tutoring. I'm assuming i'll still go along with the plan I have set currently - by being tutored on different subjects for a year before heading off to a university/college. I currently like physics, math, english, geography & chemistry - so i'll work with something along those lines. I'll still be friends with Nia & Lizi - probably beqauri and kvernadze also but more so because of classes and school stuff before I finish? I'll DEFINITELY get a septum piercing for sure. I'll start online shopping more often - wether that be in the country and thrift clothes or aliexpress and abroad shipping. Will you get some action or are you still lonely... bffr. -about Maiko, from Salome "You'll be a professional dancer, you'll probably have a 'grunge' style, you'll probably also follow trends, you'll be comfortable in yoru own skin and be confident, you'll probably not hang out with your friends as much + you'll have other friends that are more mature. you'll probably become more social and will attend more social events. you'll regain yoru fashion obsession (you have one rn.), you'll probably outline your lips, maybe play the piano again? you'll probably start wearing crop tops & eat avocado toast for breakfast and drink frappuchinos. you'll wear platforms and have 'sick' hairstyles - like those bleached streaks yk? 2 years is a long time and it's hard to assume based on nothing."
