A letter from Oct 11, 2022

Dear FutureMe, This is 2022 You. I'm in my junior year of high school and hopefully, you are in whatever year of college. If you are reading this, it most likely means we are having a tough time in college, mood but like what's wrong? …. Whatever is wrong, it doesn't even matter (yes, I'm quoting Queen and you know it's funny) anyways don't even stress about it future me, look at our strengths, we are funny, super honest about our opinions, we work really well in a short time and like much more but you know gotta keep us humble. You know if this college thing doesn't work out for you-us, we can be like a real estate or car saleswoman, I'm just playing well, kind of. If you are struggling in college and like feeling as if you don't belong there, either because it's too difficult or you don't understand, it's okay! We aren't the only ones feeling this way and it's normal to feel this way, we are literally in a whole different environment, and maybe all by ourselves who knows. Something we can do to help how we are feeling is to talk to the school counselor, they've definitely helped other students who are feeling or have gone through the same thing. Apparently, I need to tell you words of encouragement like, I know it's kinda cringe but uh, You are Amazing! I'm super proud of us, and you should be too. Going to college and all that stuff might be really stressful and might not even be worth all the struggle but one day it will be, I promise it will. Omg this is so corny but you’re my hero and I love you future me who doesn't even exist yet, you-We will do great things in the future, let's just see where the road takes us hopefully someplace good lol. Remember why we even went to college, to make our family proud because this is how we can repay them for all they've done for us, and prove to the world that we were not just a nobody but a somebody. Well uh smell ya later and don't be a stranger, future me....Also happy 21st birthday. I hope you love the way you are living now and are surrounded by the people who make you happy. I wish you the best, omg I'm gonna be in a fragment of our memories from the past ugh that's so weird. - Younger you.
