A letter from Jul 08, 2022

Dear FutureMe, I wonder if you will even get this letter. I wonder if by the time this arrives, America will have fully descended into fascism. Things are not good right now. The insurrection hearings are going on, and every revelation is worse than the next. The Supreme Court is stripping away rights. Black and POC continue to be ******** by police while white terrorists are taken alive. LGBTQ+ people are under attack, especially transpeople. It's horrific and yet totally unsurprising. I'm worried right now. I hope we do the work to save the country in the 2024 elections. I really hope we do. Stay strong, no matter what. And fight for those who have less power than you.
