Hey FutureMe
If I'm correct, you should be receiving this email at the age of 26?
I'm sending this email because I'm at a very pivotal point in my life and just wanted to touch base with how things are now. I've learnt so much about myself this year and a lot of things in my life are bringing me joy. My friends, skating, cooking food, ***, alone time. I won't lie, writing this email is a little scary, but also exhilarating. I have zero idea where you are in life right now, 3 years is a lot of time for things to change. But first, let's start with some questions.
How's mom? Is Caitlin married yet? Can you drive yet? (PLEASE do not say no oh my ******* god) How's Misty? How's your relationship with food? (bit heavy sorry lol). Are you at a good point in your life? What's new? Who's new? Have you been taking care of yourself? Are you being kind to yourself? Are you allowing yourself to enjoy silly things? How's music going? Did you finally sell your art prints? Can you do an ollie? (truthfully don't care if you can't, ollies are so scary like just keep gliding babe).
I can't predict how the future is going to look, I have no idea how you're going to receive this email, so I'll say this. No matter what happens, you deserve to live a life that is fulfilling and special. Everyday can mean something and cherish the people in your life. If things are hard, they can always change. You are infinite and ever-changing and brilliant. You are worthy of love and affection, forever and always, please don't forget that. Existing is scary sometimes, I know, but please be kind to yourself. This is the first time in my life I have ever truly felt like I've looked out for you and built a healthy relationship with you. The last few years were so, so hard for me. I learnt some really difficult truths about myself and I came back out the other end a wiser person. Never forget the journey you've taken and the triumphs you've overcome to get to this point. If there is anyone in this world that is looking out for you, it's me.
I love you. I used to struggle to say this, but I really mean it. I love you and I hope our relationship is still holding up at 26 (and a half, girlie you're OLD LMFAO). But, if not, I'll always be here to help you get back to where we were. I'm never going away, I hope you know that.
Choose you. Please.
Warm regards,
Me
