A letter from Jul 06, 2022

Peaceful right?

As if I wrote the longest note to myself and then it got deleted... I spent a good 20 minutes **** this. Ok let's try to summarise and re create what we just wrote. I went from loving this app to hating it real quick. Anyway bby Ok right so I went from crying to angry typing (and I rly thought my email was a lyrical genius kinda email). Anyways lets get back to the point. Today is the last day being 24 and I spent the whole day crying (also testing positive for Covid). Feeling rly insecure and fed up (it typically happens around my bday). But you got this girl! in the last email I wrote, I was so touched by writing i love you to myself and future self that I kept tearing up. I can't even remember what I wrote bc I'm so angry my long long letter got cleaned up before I sent :D But all I want to say is that I'm proud of you girl! You have 2 beautiful cats, a cool flat with a pool, a well paying job. And to top it all up, you're in emotionally toxic relationship :) Hope one day you'll realise (well i have- just no balls to action it). And it would hurt so frkn much cuz I love love this dude. But maybe a future me will be smarter and I'll be thanking her :) Or maybe we'll grow old together and learn from our mistakes? I got annoyed I didnt write myself a letter for my 25th birthday but what makes me smile that little me in 2009 wrote myself a letter for my bday and sent it in 2012). So to summarise: You're still crushing over Ashley Tisdale, green is no longer your favourite colour. Maybe lilac or blue. You still like bunnys but wouldn't want to have one. We more like cat ladies now. You love Jhene Aiko and you're doing your best working on yourself! So much love and I thank my little cells for keeping me alive and well (minus the covid). Love you love you love you and hope you're taking care of yourself xxxxxx
