A letter from Jul 01, 2022

hey future me, when you open this letter, you'll be 16. you'll probably have a cute car and be a great volleyball player at LAA. when I wrote this letter, I was 13 years old. I'm still wearing my glasses and I still live in Salem OR. Do you still live there or have you moved? Right now life is challenging me big time. You probably still have memories of being sad and tired and frustrated about life. It's July already and I'm still in school. People think I'm this smart girl who has straight A's but I know I'm not. There's so many things that are just overwhelming me too much and I just want to shut myself in my room and cry until my voice hurts. I feel like a live in a bubble. I have no friends whom I think I can be myself with. Well at least not girl friends. You probably remember Benjamin Ortega. He went with you to school since 8th grade. Is he still at LAA? Are you still at LAA? Yeah well he's the one I felt really comfortable with. We had a lot of fun and I hope you're still friends with hum or something more when you read this letter. But aside from that how are YOU? Is life still challenging you like it was when you were 13? If so, keep praying and be strong. Cuz I know that if you want something really bad you'll work hard for it until you get it. I honestly can't wait to hear about how you got through the tough times. How's the new home? Pretty sure you live in a new home with Niksha and your family. I keep telling myself to stop reading messages. But that's the way I find out about a lot of stuff. If you don't remember, that's the way I figured out that we had 3 months to move out of house. To be honest i really didn't like living there. It was ok and it was something but I always wanted to live in a nicer vicinity. I hope that's where you're at. I waned all these cool Nike shoes, cutest sweaters, hydroflasks, birkinstocks, etc. Do you have those now? Yeah well I hope you do. I hope that Kaleb finally talked to you. I hope that you've already had your first kiss. I hope that you already have a phone. There's so many things that I want for you. I want you to be happy. Also, are mom and dad still together? Don't know if you remember that time when dad hit mom and they started fighting early in the morning. Have they gotten through that? Have YOU gotten through that? How's Jaely? Is she finally dating mordeeno? haha probably not. But I'm sure she already graduated right? What college is going to? Wow I can't believe how fast time has gone by. You're going to be a junior right? Are still thinking about going to Stanford? Has LAA won any championships or at least gone to states? I'm really happy for you Hannah. Like honestly I really am. I know that God will help you through everything and I know that right now you're enjoying your life. I love you a lot! Bye for now. PS: don't forget to write another letter!
