Dear FutureMe,
Hope you got better at checking your email.
Today you started with a new therapist, cried in kitty's arms for hours, had Kelsey take a stitch out of your head, and applied for a job at First Solar, and some rolled steel company you've never heard of. You're almost out of money. The economy is bad, real bad (you say while never experiencing an economic downturn in your working life before). You told Kitty you promised you would work harder to give her the life she deserved. You felt like this was your rock bottom in life. I suppose by the time you read this you will know whether it truly was, and whether or not you truly could. The trip to Canada was interesting, wasn't it? Before that, you had no idea you could work so hard on vacation. 100 miles into the trip the transmission on grandpa's van gave out and you had to ride a bucket in the middle of a U-Haul the rest of the night. A bear ransacked the dining fly and returned many times throughout the week. You, dad, grandpa, and bob fremmel, had no drinkable water from the camp taps. Luckily you live in the 21st century and drinkable water was only a trip to the grocery store away. On the second to last day of the trip, you spent 3 hours in the emergency room waiting to get a fish hook out of your head, thanks to dad. Always a believer in fate, you were sure this meant you were about to catch the big fish the next day, in an act of perseverance. You were so close, only catching a 12lb Muskie, overshadowed by dad's 14lb pike that you never cared to confirm the weight. Many times over the last week, you thought there was no way to carry on, and the fact that I'm writing this to you means you were wrong, and that's okay. The fact that you're reading this today means you persevered, and that the world hasn't ended like you were always worried it would. How's the civic build coming along. Hope you havent crashed it yet. I hope you know I'm proud of you for being here today. so do e a favor, take kitty out for a nice dinner, remind her why you married her, water ben's tree, and load up Bleakwind Castle. Know that even in an overwhelmingly difficult situation, you have persevered before, and will again. I love you.
