Dear FutureMe,
I don’t know if you are gonna remember this letter but I hope you’re reading this right now. I know this year was hard but you got through it and I'm proud of you. It’s June 22, 2022 today this year I am 11 and I turn 12 in August and the pandemic is still around and I currently like a boy that is in another class and we're really close even though we don't really see each other that much every time we walk home and poke and squish each other's cheeks and sometimes hug each other. It’s been hard because we still need to wear masks etc and it’s 5 days before the last day of school and I'm really sad about it because I'm gonna miss my teachers etc because I was in online school. This year we had the pandemic but this year was the best 6 grade even if next year I'm going to 7th grade and we don’t know if we’re going to stay with our current classmates but I hope when you’re reading this letter the pandemic is finally going to be over. I hope when you look back to this point of our life you will remember all the memories we made in middle school and I hope every morning you will be excited when you are going to school even if school is boring and hard you will get through it. Sometimes there’s a lot of homework to do and stay up really late because of it, it’s okay because you will get through it. I hope you’re taking good care of yourself even if you have bad days and good days. I hope that when you're also reading this we will be in a happy place with the people we love and care for and the things, places and anything else you’re happy about even if I don’t know who your friends are right now and where you live and also what your favorite hobby is. Right now I like listening to music while playing brawl stars, doing homework etc, I am also writing this letter in ELA class while sitting with my teacher Ms. Santos and my two classmates with Christopher and Charlotte. I also hope that you will also be happy and not be insecure anymore and gain your confidence back. I hope you will also get better at cooking, baking, and with school and your studies. I can’t wait to be you.
- Jenny
