A letter from Jun 13, 2022

Dear Matt, I hope you're doing well. Already in college! I wonder what career you've decided to pursue, and what friends you've decided to make. I hope you are further along on your fitness journey than I am, and I hope that you are more disciplined. I hope that you hope less, and do more. I hope that you're making a lot of money, but are still studying math and physics like they're your majors. I hope you love more and hate less. I hope you have found people to trust, people that will be by your side for life. Lose your insecurities and your worries for the future, if you haven't yet. Never forget the family you have behind you. Never forget mom, or your aunts and grandparents, nor Kevin, Jayden, Peter, and the like. As self-made as you want to be, they helped shape you into today's you. Work hard, but don't overdo it. Relax, enjoy the beauty of the world. I don't know if you'll read that last line and smirk, scoff, or completely agree, and that's why I love you.
