(Mom, if you get this email, DO NOT READ IT. Forward it to me immediately and forget anything you saw.) June 2022 Dear FutureMe, Hey. It's pointless asking things. But whatever. You can revisit some memories. By the time you get this(for the first time), you'll be in high school. Wow. High school. I can't even fathom that. How was the eighth grade? Are the boys still *****? Speaking of boys, 😳. Did you start the GSA? Do you still go by AJ? I love going by AJ. Although I don't have anything just "A" anymore. It feels weird without the "J" attached. Do you still like boba? What about our license? Our jobs? I can't wait to work. Everyone tells me that I don't know what I'm saying and that it's not as easy as I think it is. It probably isn't, but I still can't wait to have that experience. WAIT. DO WE HAVE A JOB AT A BOBA SHOP?! That would be the best. Oh, yeah and the surgery. I don't know if you got that bar in our chest taken out or not, but what's it like having scars? I've always wanted scars. It probably sounds weird. Are we driving yet? I can't wait to drive. I have no idea if I'd be a good driver, a bad driver, get the hang of it quick, be a slow learner. I can't wait to experience life. What's the status with the parents? Are they still helicopter-ing all of the time? This probably seems weird to the person reading this. The one on the site, not you. Haha isn't it funny I found this in a reddit post on youtube shorts? LOL. Do we shut up when necessary now? Oh, you probably unleashed a whole other three years of embarrassing memories that make you want to puke🤮. I have a birthday party coming up, I hope that's fun. I invited Cygnus, Ollie, Neptune, Lyle, Drake, and Zak. They're all coming except Cygnus. Actually they might be there. I don't know. You're still friends with all of them, right? RIGHT?! If I ever lost those people I'd be depressed. Not the pretend kind. OOH! THE GARDEN! I have five cantaloupe plants right now, did you start a garden? My hair, is it still short? Do we still have virgin hair? Did we get our brace off? How were braces? Oh, have you gone on the roof yet? Okay. I have a list. I want you to do this all in one day. -If you have a partner, cuddle with them. -Get boba -Go to the library -If you aren't in touch with the seventh grade friend group, TEXT THEM, if you are, go get boba with as many of them as possible. -If you don't have a garden yet, look into it. -Go on the roof Well, my fingers are tired and I want to read other people's letters.
