Dear FutureMe, currently, i am writing this during the summer after freshmen year. it was fun, you made some of the best friends you'll probably ever have. and now you're 18 and graduating. it makes me nauseous thinking about it, how far we've come and how much we still have to go. but i know if anyone can do it, it's us. regardless of what happens in my future or in yours, i love you. and i am so so so proud of you. we survived. we did it. this is a short letter that i did on a whim, but i figured i would need to know that i'm making little alexa proud. because you are. everyday that we're alive, you're making me - making us - proud. you are going to make your mark in this world. you are going to do great things. there is nothing stopping us. please believe in yourself as much as i do. there is no going back now. do good. for me.
