A letter from May 23rd, 2022

Dear FutureMe, Lillian Skare May 2022 Mrs. Ubriaco's Class I am 130 pounds and my height is 5’8’’. Right now I wear clothes that are hippie, athletic, aesthetic, comfy and cute. I don’t have a job right now but I used to work at Starbucks. I do babysit though. I want to go to cosmetology school and interior design. I have always had a creative mind and always been into hair, lashes, nails and ect. My plan for the next 12 months is to learn something new, get a good job, lean turns graduation, maybe start online courses for cosmetology school. I would describe my personality as out-going, quiet, honest, mean sometimes, artistic, and curious. My friends would say I keep to myself, honest, artistic, creative, nice, funny, free minded, smart, out-going, organized, a model, and a good photographer. I am writing this in creative writing class. My teacher is Ms. Umbriaco. This class has taught me how to become a better writer and learn different techniques. I love poetry the best so I was glad we got to do that. My dad’s side is where I get my native side from. I am Salish and Kootenai. My mom’s side is more white. Of course we are part like norwegian and dutch and all that stuff too. On my dad’s side they say stuff like frybread and the rez. My mom’s side says stuff like margarita, and golfing and fun things lol. My Mom’s side is more fun I would say. They go to this club and play golf or throw little house parties and watch baseball. On my Dad’s side we like to hike and go watch sports. Some things that annoy me is that I never really get to see my Mom’s side as much as I get to see my Dad’s side. Another thing that annoys me is when some people on my Dad’s side are different. Some friends that are close in my life are Kysis Santos, Sadie Michaud, Sierra Cote, Allissia, Ridge, Koy, Cooper, Louie, Destiny, Tyariah, Rasia, Bethany, and others. Kysis has to be my best friend though. We are always together and we tell each other everything. In my free time I like to go on drives and take pictures and I like to watch netflix, write in my journal, hang out with my friends, babysit, and go hiking. My favorite shows right now are Vampire Diaries, Jane the Virgin, The Maid, This Is Us, Bigsky, The Voice, and Euphoria. My favorite movies right now are Little boy, Aquaman, Father Stu, Senior Year, After, After we collided, After we fell, Nerve, Just go with it, Mean Girls, Grown Ups 1 and 2, Happy Gilmore, 50 first dates, and really any movie with A*** Sandler in it lol. I listen to any song. I like country, sad songs, hip-hop, and R&B music. I like other genres too. My favorite brands are American Eagle, Nike, Hollister, Fableticis and brands like those. Some of my favorite drinks and snacks are iced coffees, doritos, flavored waters, McChickens, mac and cheese, stir frys, rice and chicken, spaghetti, water, milk, mtn dew, and other things. Some hobbies that I have are going hiking, paddle boarding, writing, painting, drawing, photography and modeling, camping, anything cosmetology related and in interior design. I like to go on walks but I don’t exercise a lot. I like to eat at places like Olive Garden, Ninepipes, Texas Roadhouse, Elk’s, the shoe, and places like that.I don’t have any favorite books. I’m not much of a reader. I don’t really have a favorite sports team either. I like to watch sports, don't get me wrong but I kinda just watch and go for the team I believe will win. I do like the Vikings though and a couple others. I enjoy watching basketball the most. Some things that annoy me are my Dad and my step mom and a couple other people. I hate when people have to think their right all the time or when they chew loudly or think they are better than you or talk loud or sing songs they don’t even know and it just ruins the song. I have a lot of pet peeves lol. The current President right now is Joe Biden. Food security is a big issue right now in the US. Some of the most famous people right now of 2022 are Dwanyn Johnson, Joe Biden, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, LeBron James, and Kylie Jenner and the Kardashions. Right now the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard court trial is going on. I want to go to cosmetology school and Interior design and maybe realtoring. I wanna make good money. Enough to have a nice house, a nice car, money for my kids and things we need. I want 2 boys and 1 girl and I want a respectful and fun husband who’s good with kids. I hope the world gets better but It’s something we can’t really predict. A quote I want to always remember is “Always be yourself. You shouldn’t have to change for no one.” I like to have my phone with me as much as I can because it helps with my anxiety and knowing that something bad could happen and you don’t have your phone scares me. Things that make life worth living are my brothers, Mom’s side of the family, My future goals, and some family on my Dad’s side. I want to go to Dubai, Bali, Fiji and places like those. I like to visit my aunt in Arizona and I like to go to my hometown Rapid City, South Dakota to see my Mom’s side of the family. I love to see Wyoming too. It’s so pretty in some places. In 10 years I want to be happier and I want my anxiety and depression to be gone. I don’t want to be hurt anymore or feel like I’m neglected or left out. I want to do the best for my kids and I want them to be able to trust me and talk to me about anything. I want them to know that they are loved and I want my future husband to know I’ll be there for him too and I want him to have trust in me and I give the same trust and love back. I want to have a good relationship with his family and mine and I want to be working a job I really enjoy doing. I hope in 10 years things do change and I change.
