A letter from May 17th, 2022

Date: May/17/22 Dear Future self, I hope you are doing well… By the time i get this i will be 18 0r 19 I hope you did not become what you feared the most. It might be hard sometimes so I hope you stopped caring what people say about you and I hope that you're less insecure about your body. When you leave here I hope you're remembered as the funny kid. Hopefully we will have a car and a driver license by then because I'm tired of taking buses. I hope that we are still close to our family. Hopefully I will still see my goddaughter and be an auntie by then because my goddaughter means the world to me and I want to be an auntie because I want to babysit. By then I hope we are still close to our best friends and maybe more friends along the way. I hope we get closer to mom and dad and sisters. I hope you were happy and that you didn't trust no one you barely knew. Stay say future self i'm almost there. XOXO, Tricia
