Dear FutureMe,
Hi, I hope you're doing well. I hope you're reading this on your birthday. I'm writing this letter to you, but I don't know how you may grow up to be; I'm assuming you've grown up as I hoped and dreamed. I'd say it's 2024 or 2025, right? We've seen a lot, haven't we? Want a trip down memory lane?
Well, right now, you are 17 years old and living in El Paso, Texas. You're in your senior year of high school, getting ready to get your diploma. You worked hard during your four years of high school. I'm sure you remember that it was stressful at the time, but it was worth it because you cared about your future. You wanted to set an example for your brothers. Mom and Dad are proud of you. They've always been proud of you.
I hope you are happy where you are. It's important to know that your happiness comes first. When working, you give everything to your task. Take challenges so you can prove to yourself that you can do it.
The last thing I want to tell you is to follow your heart, and sometimes, you need others to help you, to guide you. Jeremiah 29:11, He says: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
<3, Me
