Dear FutureMe, Happy 18th girlfriend It’s 14yo grace, hoping that this letter won’t be too painfully cringy. What’s it like being 18? Are we still friends with Sam (yr8 aurora) and Steph? Is Marsy still my pupper? What subjects am I learning for my HSC? Do we still remember bacon from year nine camp? Do we still want to become an anaesthetist? How did we go with flower boy? Do we have a boyfriend? Have we kissed anyone? As I write this letter, I’m in a moonboot on crutches but wanting to just get out there and run. Please please please tell me we didn’t stop running. That we did live to see our goals come true. Please. I hope you are glad you made it to 18. 14yo me is writing this wishing she was 18 lmao. Idek what to write here anymore. But I do hope that we will be ok. No matter what we are going through at 14 or at 18, we can do it.
