Epilogue

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, Happy birthday from the past! 20 years old. Wow. Do you remember when you thought 17 was old? I hope you're living an amazing life. Have you met anyone you're interested in? How's Amelia? How's Kayden? Is there still that 3rd wheel feeling whenever you're all together? Or did you find somebody? Did you ever confess your feelings to Joshua??? Did he feel the same??? How many jobs do you have? How much has your art progressed? Is your mental health doing good? Does the numb feeling ever really go away? I wish I could talk to you. You probably have your life together and could give me some advice. I need it. Go tell the stars and maybe they'll tell me. How's the rest of the fam? Is it worth it? I only have about 1 year left of highschool and it's a struggle. I'm trying, I'm trying... Please don't ever stop staring at nature and the sky. It consoles in ways that I don't think people can. The glittering stars, the shining moon, the fiery sunsets, the gentle sunrises. The deep blue of midday, the cool gray of rain clouds, the fluffy white snowstorms. The calm reflection in lakes and ponds, the crisp breeze blowing through trees. Nature has a way of calming the most tumultuous emotions. Remember 'Above the Stars'? Where did that adventure take you? Do you have a motorcycle??? Please say yes! Welp, continue the self-love and write another one of these. Happy birthday from 3 years in the past! (Don't forget to 'Engage with the Page'😉)
