Dear future self,
You wrote this to be able to compare life as a freshman to life as a nearly graduated senior. As you wrote this, it was finals week. You already took chemistry (thank goodness) and the stress is over. COVID was still happening, but at the point of writing you never had it yet. You had a dog named Loki who is hopefully still alive when you receive this. Your favorite teacher was Mr. Decker but he said he was leaving so you probably didn't have him for a second semester. A bunch of teachers are leaving so I'm sure by the time you get this You'll have had tons of teacher who left mid-year. Hopefully you aren't super stressed. Freshman year was awful enough and it was only halfway over 🙁
If you made it to senior year everything is probably fine. Congratulations on making it through. You can't wait to graduate when you wrote this.
PS: Go tell your favorite high school teachers (who are still left) thank you and goodbye
Also you're sorry this letter is a hot mess but it was almost time to go home and who cares as long as you can read it.
